Caring for the Mind and Heart
Elk Plain Christian Preschool and Kindergarten offers five classes for children 3, 4, and 5 years of age. Each class offers a child the opportunity to learn and grow with other children their age. It is our goal to provide children with a well balanced experience that will help lay a foundation for their years ahead. Through a variety of activities, projects and active play the children learn many new skills and build confidence. Each class is designed to prepare the child by developing age-appropriate knowledge and skills in the following areas:
Social and Emotional

Physical Development
- Gross motor skills: walk, jump, run, hop, crawl, throw, climb

Cognitive Thinking and Problem Solving
- Math- Matching, sorting & classifying objects, number recognition, counting, shape recognition, comparisons and patterns.
- Language- Listening, following directions, comprehension, speech, communicating clearly so others understand, rhyming, letter recognition and sounds, naming colors, sequencing, fact vs fiction.
- Science- Physical laws, weather, seasons, sensory perception, animals, insects, and plants.

Current Year (2024-2025) Information
We have a couple of spots open for the 2024-2025 school year. Please do not send in registrations or make payments until you are notified that we have a spot for your student(s). You can call Hannah Lynn at 253-576-8550 for more information about openings or to add your student to our waitlist.
Tuition payments can be made in person by cash or check, or online with a credit card. Additional fees apply to credit card payments.

- $1600 per year, divided into 10 monthly payments of $160

4 Year Old Pre-K Classes
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

- $1850 per year, divided into 10 monthly payments of $185

5 Year Old Half-Day Kindergarten
- Monday - Thursday
